Two 60-minute workshops offered in Autumn & Spring to support Abitur students in managing stress & preparing for exams.

Stress-Management & Resilience

 – Offered in Autumn –

This workshop helps students build foundational awareness of stress and equips them with practical techniques for self-regulation and mental clarity.

Content Includes:
  • Understanding Stress: What stress is, how it shows up mentally & physically.

  • Window of Tolerance: How to recognize & stay within your optimal state

  • Breathing Techniques: Box breathing & extended exhale breath for calming

    the nervous system

  • Gentle movement: Shoulder rolls, spinal twists, neck stretches, forward

    folds

  • Journaling Prompts: Personal stressors, current coping tools, goals

  • Build a Mini Stress Toolkit: Identify a few personal go-to strategies

  • Guided Meditation: Body scan for relaxation and reset

  • Group Reflection: Time for discussion & feedback

Focus, Energy, & Exam Mindset

 – Offered in Spring –

This workshop supports students in performing under pressure by providing tools to stay focused, energized, and mentally grounded.

Content Includes:
  • Focus & Performance: Identifying common distractions & thought patterns

  • Mindset & Affirmations: Using self-talk & belief to support confidence

  • Breathing Techniques: Alternate nostril breathing, breath counting for concentration

  • Mindful Productivity Tools: How to structure revision with breaks & movement, grounding techniques before & during exams

  • Visualization Practice: Guided “success moment” visualization

  • Journaling Prompts: Focus reflection, exam preparation strategies, and confidence-building

  • Build a Personal Exam Toolkit: Create a strategy plan with 3-5 tools

  • Group Reflection: Time for discussion & feedback
